Scoreboard control command
/scoreboard
/scoreboard is the admin control surface for the automatic post lanes. After setup it sets the Live Score Grid channel, the general 5-minute poster channel, and the schedule/final record channel, chooses sports per post, and turns delivery on, off, or into a test.
Permission: server owner, Administrator, or Manage Server.
Separate channels, separate sports
The Live Score Grid and the general 5-minute poster must use different channels so the constantly edited live board does not get buried in chat. Each post type can also carry its own sports list, so the Live Score Grid does not have to inherit every automatic post.
Test before kickoff
Run /scoreboard test to confirm channel routing, image permissions, and formatting before game day. If a channel's permissions change later, delivery can pause until View Channel, Send Messages, Attach Files, and Embed Links are restored.
Subcommands
/scoreboard status
Delivery health
Shows configured scoreboard channels, sports chosen for each post, pause state, and whether automatic delivery is ready.
/scoreboard channel
Set channels
Sets the Live Score Grid channel, general 5-minute poster channel, and schedule/final record channel. Live Score Grid and general 5-minute poster must be separate.
/scoreboard enable / pause / resume
Control posting
Turns automatic delivery on, temporarily pauses it during noisy windows, or resumes it when the channel is ready.
/scoreboard sports
Choose coverage
Changes the supported sports for a scoreboard post. Live Score Grid keeps its own sports list instead of inheriting every post type.
/scoreboard test
Preview delivery
Sends a delivery test so admins can confirm permissions, channel routing, and image formatting before game day.
Common questions
Can each post go to a different channel?
Yes. Live Score Grid, the general 5-minute poster, and schedule/final records each route independently inside the selected server.
How do I pause delivery during a noisy window?
Use /scoreboard pause to stop automatic posting temporarily, then /scoreboard resume when the channel is ready.
