On-demand command
/score
/score is the member-facing command. Anyone in an entitled server can pull a single game as a rich card — live, recently finished, or historical — with score, clock, game state, stats, and leaders when the data is available.
Permission: Available to any member in a server with an active CFBCBot subscription.
Three lookups in one command
Live returns the in-progress card with score, clock, possession, and game-state detail. Recent returns the just-finished game. Historical pulls a completed game from earlier in the season so a thread can settle an argument without leaving Discord.
What is on the card
Depending on the sport and what the provider feed exposes, a /score card can include the line score, win probability, team stats, possession, and individual leaders. College football, basketball, and baseball plus NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB are supported.
How it differs from the Live Score Grid
The Live Score Grid is the always-on board for the whole slate. /score is the deep dive on one game — reach for it when a thread wants detail on a single matchup instead of the full board.
Common questions
Can every member use /score?
Yes, as long as the server has an active subscription. /score does not require Manage Server.
What if no live feed is available?
When a supported live feed is unavailable, /score falls back to schedule and final data so the command still returns useful context.
